Material handling systems

Widely popular in material handling and packaging industries, conveyors are essentially equipment that handle and move materials from one point to another aiding in efficient and faster delivery of heavy loads. The two most prominent variants designed by conveyor manufacturers in India are those used for moving bulk materials and others that handle material units.

1. Belt Conveyors: Used to transport materials between supported pulleys. The speed is determined by the equipment hoisted and the product needs. Air tables and ball transfer tables can be used to contain the materials on the conveyor. Chains, chutes, and buckets are used to move materials.
2. Reciprocating Conveyors: Used for moving materials between multiple levels. Design choices are between cage, fork, and platform. Generally augers are used to boost goods from one level to another.
3. Vibrating Conveyors: Used to continuously move goods as can be seen in an inclined plane these types of conveyors are operated through a drive system comprising springs and hinge links.

5. Engineering, manufacturing, and supply of Wagon Bag Loader System - 400 X 8 capacity for M/s. Krishnapatnam Port Company Limited, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.
6. Design, fabrication, erection, and commissioning of 2200 TPH Flap Gates for Coal Silo Conveyor System for M/s. Krishnapatnam Port Company Limited, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.
7. Design, fabrication, and erection of 60 TPH Bucket Elevator for Urea on commission by M/s. Krishnapatnam Port Company Limited, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.
Design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of Coal Silo conveyors for Truck load Hoppers feeding for M/s Krishnapatnam Port Company Limited, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.
8. a) Installation of 0.7 MTPA Wet Screening Circuit including Fines and Process Water recovery. The scope includes complete design and engineering, supply and transportation of all materials, plant and machinery including electrical, instrumentation, control and telecommunication at site, Civil & Structural work, installation of equipment, water system and maintenance facilities viz Crane/ Hoist for maintenance of equipment to be installed inside buildings and transfer towers, recycling of process water from collection tank, supply of working drawings, erection, testing, commissioning, elimination of teething troubles, successful completion of performance guarantee test. On LSTK basis at NMDC Kirandul
   b) Rapid Wagon Loading along with 3000 TPH Feeding Conveyor System design, engineering, preparation of designs and drawings, procurement, manufacture, shop testing, inspection, supply and storage of equipment at site, unloading, transportation within site, installation, commissioning and carrying out cold test, hot test (load test and commissioning) and performance guarantee tests of Rapid Wagon Loading System (RWLS) along with feeding conveyor system including modification of existing interfacing conveyor on LSTK basis.at NMDC Kirandul.
   c) Design, procurement/fabrication/manufacture, painting, testing, packing, insurance, transportation and supply to the project site, handling & storage at site of all mechanical and electrical items of the system as detailed in the technical specification, which mainly include belt conveyors & drive system for upgradation work complete with electrical drive motor, high speed coupling, gear box, low speed coupling, brakes, pulleys, idler sets, take-up, safety switches, belt scrapers, skirt with liners etc., technological structures like stringers, short supports, deck plates, drive, tail and take up structures with platforms, pulley frames, walkway and access, safety guards, hand rails, chute & liners, flap gates etc. along with associated electrical items. Design, engineering and execution of Civil & Structural Works connected with the system as detailed at respective clauses of the technical specification. Erection Insurance, Erection, Commissioning and Trial Runs of the complete system and equipment. Proving Performance Guarantee Parameters of the equipment and the system. On LSTK basis.at NMDC Kirandul.
9. Engineering, Manufacturing & Supply of Raw Material Handling System, Erection and Commissioning of 100K expansion of Raw Material Handling System for Establishment of Raw Material (RMHS), Green Electrode Plant (GEP), Green Scrap Handling and New Speciality circuit for M/s. HEG LIMITED, Mandideep (Near Bhopal), Dist. Raisen (M.P)-462 046.
